This past fall, ITEC had the opportunity to travel to the Global Missions Health Conference and conduct interviews with some of our closest partners. Caleb Rayapati founded Harvest Ministries in the Telengana district of south-central India. Harvest Ministries has planted over 140 churches, raising up indigenous pastors and elders in a largely Hindu area.

In this video, Caleb shares how God has grown Harvest Ministries. He also shares how some of their pastors were trained in dental extractions (I-DENT) a number of years ago. Right before this training a local pastor was killed in their region for his faith. After the training, these pastors were welcomed into the same general area where the pastor had been killed! Meeting dental needs has opened the door for these pastors to share the Gospel in hostile places.

The pastors trained in dental extractions have had regular clinics since they were trained more than 14 years ago. In 2017 we were invited back to India by Caleb to train in digital storytelling (I-FILM). Caleb and those trained on the ground are equipped with tools to open new doors to the Gospel. By God’s grace, these pastors have been able to meet needs in surrounding communities and share Christ in their native tongue with those who don’t know the Good News.

Please continue to pray for both ITEC and Harvest Ministries. Be sure to watch through the conclusion of this video when Caleb gives his advice to the North American Church.
