“The best kept secret in missions.”  This is what one visitor shared after experiencing a tour of ITEC.  “No really, sir, it is a flying car.”  One ITEC team member said this to a police officer a couple years ago after being pulled over on the way to a missions conference.  “We have an amazing team.”  Our typical, yet heartfelt, response when people ask what is the best part of ITEC.

Our team consists of 35 – 40 people who show up to work on a weekly basis. The vast majority being volunteers, as well as hundreds of others who pray for or financially support the vision of ITEC — to equip indigenous Christ-followers around the world with tools to meet the physical needs of their own people as a door opener for the Gospel.

The Story Continues…

A story that God began writing more than 60 years ago with five families who were willing to be obedient to the Lord’s call on their lives in the Amazon Rainforest, continues to be written today.  What started as the Waodani’s idea began to be fleshed out by Steve Saint with the help of volunteers like Gene Walrath.

What started very simply, more than 20 years ago, continues to gather momentum as more people catch the vision of training rather than doing.  Along with ITEC, we have partner organizations like mPower Approach and Teach to Transform, who are traveling around the world to equip Christ-followers to meet the physical needs of their people as a door opener for the Gospel.

2017 Update

By the end of 2017, the ITEC team will have traveled to over 24 countries, completed 29 training modules (I-DENT, I-FIX, I-FILM, I-MED, I-SEE, I-FLY/UAV), as well as at least 20 speaking opportunities.  We also will be launching several of our I-FLY team members who have completed their training and are ready to see where the Lord will lead them to serve on the mission field.

2018 promises to be another active year, as our team has 19 additional training modules already scheduled.

We serve an amazing God who is allowing us to participate in the mission that He has given to His followers, and we are so thankful for the Lord bringing you alongside us to support us prayerfully and financially.
