PDC-100 Dental Chair

I-Tec's Dental Chair ‒ The PDC-100

By itself, the PDC-100 is a fully articulated chair. It is lightweight, durable, and handsome. It can stand alone as a medical examination chair, or be used with another company’s dental equipment. However, the PDC was chiefly designed to be an integral part of the I-Tec Portable Dental System.

I-Tec's Dental Systems

The I-Tec (400 and 500) PDS are complete dental operatories. They are specially designed to be used in third world conditions in the field and in medical clinics. The I-Tec PDS are lightweight, compact, and durable. They are easily cleaned and are designed to support a patient weight of 300lbs. The hand drill stores in a rugged ABS plastic instrument case along with the power controls and lamp. The instrument tray is stored under the foot rest, and the instrument tray’s support tube is stored in a retainer on the posterior side of the back rest. Hundreds of Portable I-Tec Dental Systems are now being used throughout the globe to provide relief from physical suffering and to open communication doors through the Gospel of Jesus Christ to provide relief from spiritual suffering.

Advantages:

Lightweight: The PDC-100 weighs only 23 lbs. The heaviest system, the PDS-500, is only 34 lbs.
Simple:        Each system can be assembled in approximately 2 minutes.
Durable:      These systems were designed specifically to be used in third world conditions.
Compact:    The PDS store all their main components (battery, power converter, hand drill, instrument tray, and lamp) on the chair for optimal portability and convenience.

PDS-400 Clinic Model

The PDS-400:

The Clinic model is designed for operators who intend to work in a location which has its own power source and where no back packing is needed. In the clinic model, the chair plugs into the clinic’s power source (110v, 220v, 12v automobile battery, or 12v automobile plug). The PDS-400 (shown here with the utility case closed) could be hand carried, or transported in an optional carry case.

PDS-500 Field Model

The PDS-500:

The Field model is designed for operators who intend to travel into multiple locations during their dental mission’s trip, or for those who will operate in locations which do not have their own power source. In the field model, the chair is integrated with a battery pack which doubles as the instrument tray stand. As many as two batteries can be stored in the retainers provided on the posterior side of the back rest. The back-pack assembly is padded, lightweight, and strong. It has a waist belt for comfort, and remains on the chair while assembled.

PDS Easy Transport
Both systems fold for transport or storage. The PDS-500 (shown on the left side) and PDS-400 (right) have standard components that include a portable dental chair; a lightweight, powerful variable speed drill; a case mounted drill-control unit; a variable speed foot controlled drill switch; a universal power source & charger; and a utility tray with a chair mounted stand, & attachment for the dental utility case.

Other Options ‒ PDC Only:

The PDC-200 has hookups for an I-Tec backpack (not included).
The PDC-300 has the I-Tec backpack and a mounted instrument tray.
