I-Tec's Portable Dental System (PDS) is a robust, fully articulating dental chair and battery-operated handpiece -- all in a package you can comfortably carry on your back.
Setting a new world standard in truly portable dentistry, the I-TEC PDS is unlike other systems with its a compact, 33-pound package. The handpiece includes a well-balanced 2,000-25,000 rpm dental handpiece, state-of-the-art electronic controller, low-battery indicator, reversing switch, air-operated foot pedal, and headlamp. The system's folding dental chair has been fitted with a headrest and handrails, an instrument tray, a handpiece, LED headlamp, AC/DC charger, and solar panel. Constructed of anodized aluminum tubing and engineering plastics, the chair sets up in less than two minutes, supports up to 300 lbs., and is exceptionally stable.
